Brazilian Butt Lift We’re sure you’ve seen the pictures of celebrities with butt implants. Sometimes they can look great and other times, well, it can look a little ridiculous, to say the least! If you’re looking for shapelier buttocks, these tabloid pictures may have been a little off-putting. We don’t blame you! Butt implants are not the only way to enhance your derriere, one of the alternatives comes in the form of a Brazilian butt lift. A Brazilian butt lift is a popular procedure that allows you to have a shapelier butt without having butt implants. This procedure is performed by taking unwanted fat from another area of your body and injecting that fat carefully into the buttocks, to form a round, lifted shape. What to expect after the procedure; Once you awaken from your procedure, you are likely to feel a little groggy. You can expect to experience some level of discomfort, and this usually varies with how many sites you’ve had fat removed from. During Brazilian butt lift recovery, the liposuction recovery can be the more uncomfortable part, compared to where we implant the fat. The day after your butt lift, you will experience some swelling – this is completely normal. You will be required to do a small amount of slow walking every few hours as this will be beneficial for your recovery. Though you will be able to walk, you will not be able to do any housework for a while, so be sure to enlist the help of a friend or family member here. After about a week you will begin to feel significantly better. You will still have swelling, but walking will likely get easier and most people find they can go up and down stairs. A Brazilian butt lift is a minimally invasive procedure, though for the first few weeks you will experience some inconveniences such as avoiding sitting or sleeping with direct pressure on your butt. Though once your healing is complete, you will be able to sit or sleep as you like. Compression garment It is likely that we will recommend that you wear a compression or shaping garment after a Brazilian butt lift as this helps the transferred fat to heal in the desired shape. In some cases, you will receive a more structured compression garment for the initial phase of healing, followed by a different one as your recovery progresses. The compression garment will be snug, but not overly tight. In some situations, we may also recommend compression garments for the areas that have had liposuction as part of the Brazilian butt lift procedure. In these areas, the compression can be beneficial in reducing swelling, pain and promoting healing. With a Brazilian butt lift, you can have a firmer, shapelier butt that looks natural. And as an added bonus, unwanted fat removed from certain areas of the body! Don’t forget to share this via Twitter, Google+, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
