Treat fine lines and wrinkles
As we age, it is normal for lines and wrinkles to begin to appear on the forehead, around the eyes and around the mouth.
Fine lines and wrinkles can occur when muscles contract to form different facial expressions, causing the overlying skin in the area to frequently crease. Here at Sculpted Clinic, anti-wrinkle treatment, also known as anti-wrinkle injections can temporarily relax these wrinkle-causing muscles. We can combine our wrinkle treatment with other treatments to address skin tone, texture, and other concerns.
Suitable candidates for wrinkle treatment
Treatment with wrinkle relaxers, or cosmetic wrinkle treatment, can be suitable for those who want to treat minor to moderate fine lines and wrinkles.
All candidates for the treatment will need to have a thorough consultation, to assess any possible contraindications and to create a treatment plan that considers patient needs.
Suitable candidates should be in good general health and not have any conditions that can interfere with the treatment, such as underlying nerve conditions. Active infections in the treatment area can be contraindications to the treatment. The treatment cannot be performed on those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or those who are under the age of 18.
Candidates for wrinkle treatment should have realistic expectations for the treatment’s results, understand their temporary nature, and be willing to undergo maintenance treatments to maintain results in the long term.

Your consultation at Sculpted
Your consultation at Sculpted Clinic on the Gold Coast will provide you with much more detailed information on the treatment, including how it is performed and what to expect during your appointment. Your treatment can be performed by our highly trained staff, but you will need to have an initial consultation with Dr Sawhney.
Dr Sawhney will assess your desired treatment area, ask questions about any health conditions or medications you are taking, and assess if you are a suitable candidate for the treatment.
If you are suitable for wrinkle treatment, you can then discuss the details of a personalised treatment plan, outlining your specific treatment areas and the level of wrinkle reduction that our team can aim to achieve, according to your personal goals.
You will then be able to discuss the details of recovery and aftercare, such as what to expect in terms of temporary side effects and how they can be managed. You can discuss how soon you can expect to see results and how long these results may last.
An important aspect of cosmetic wrinkle treatment to cover during your consultation is the possibility of complications occurring. Dr Sawhney will outline the possible risks and complications of the treatment and discuss how these can be minimised, prevented or managed should they occur.
The aim of your consultation is to answer any questions you may have, plan for a personalised treatment, assess your suitability for the treatment and allow you to make an informed decision.
How does cosmetic wrinkle treatment work?
Our anti-wrinkle treatments are performed by well-trained staff at the Sculpted Clinic under Dr Sawhney’s supervision. An initial consultation with Dr Sawhney is mandatory for him to assess your needs and personal preferences. Follow-up consults then allow him to fine-tune your regular maintenance treatments to maintain your results in the long term.
Cosmetic wrinkle treatment aims to relax the muscles that are causing the skin to frequently crease and show these fine lines and wrinkles. Treatment sessions are personalised and consider your personal needs, and goals for the results of the treatment. Treatments are quick, typically taking only 15 to 20 minutes.
Results from the treatment can take from one to two days, up to 10 to 14 days to become visible. Once results from the wrinkle treatment are noticeable, they can last for around three to four months, but this varies from patient to patient.
Our wrinkle treatment may also help treat excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), facial muscle spasms, and migraines. If this treatment option interests you, you are welcome to contact our team to learn more or book your consultation to discuss how the treatment may suit your needs.
